I miss my doggies...

I left them with my x-husband....where they can run and play in his big yard. Then I moved away. Now I miss them so much. Sometimes I just cry when I think about them.

Just wanted to whine.

My new bf has a cat. He shares her with his x-wife...cat custody. This cat is not crazy about me. (I think the x-wife has poisoned her against me!) But we do try.

I want a dog!!!!

Awww... I hear ya, too.

When i got divorced, we had 2 ****er spaniels...our babies. I kept the one that had been with us the longest, because she had stayed with me thru breakups we had, before we ever got married.

My last few nites 'at home,' i slept with the other baby on my chest all nite long, every nite. She liked to sleep that way anyway. I would cry myself to sleep. I missed her SO BAD after i left...

I did bring the other ****er over for visits, because the two dogs missed each other, too. My ex- and i stayed friends for quite a while.

Hey girls. Thanks for the sympathy. I don't ask for advice or help much cause I really am a happy girl. Most of the time. But this dog thing is miserable! I haven't seen them in over a year and it still hurts so much. My x and I are good friends and talk on the phone a lot, but for me to go to his town is too big of a trip and I just haven't been able to go. Plus, I wonder if it would just hurt even more to see them again and then say goodbye.

But you know, anyway, I still cry about it all the time. Sometimes just out of the blue.

That's why I have my avatar. She looks like a cross between my two little sweethearts...one is a yellow lab and the other a golden retriever.

Yeah, Jellybean...when I moved out and my girls would come visit, the yellow lab was so mad at me. She wouldn't talk to me or sleep with me. Poor thing!

I just want them to be happy every day. And I wish I could give them huggies.

*Hugs HH* I miss my girl too. She had to be put to sleep on December 20th because of kidney failure. She'd been with me for seven years. I had her longer than the ex-husband and she was way more faithful and loyal.

I still miss her and my heart aches when I think of her. *sighs*

So sorry, Shan. ((((hugs)))) to you too! That must be the hardest thing in the world. You must miss your baby so!

I'd like to get a puppy or even a kitty that I could bond with, but I want to be considerate to my BF's poor kitty who has to get stuffed in her cage and sent back and forth every two weeks. That pIsses her off pretty good! Now the X got a new kitten for when the big cat is with us. So she has to put up with a new kitty over there. So I can't put her through that over here, too.

Oh well. Maybe some day I'll get a new furry critter friend!
