I AM VERY INTERESTED IN AN OLDER MAN (HE'S 52) i"M 32 BUT I THINK HE THINKS I AM TOO OLD FOR HIM. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT COULD SEPARATE US. HE IS JEWISH I'M AFRICAN-AMERICAN. HE'S OLDER AND HE HAS BEEN MARRIED BEFORE WITH THREE CHILDREN. HE'S ASKED ME WHAT DO I WANT WITH HIME. MOST OF THE OLDER PEOPLE (AROUND HIS AGE) HAVE TOLD ME THAT HE IS SCARED. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK. HOW CAN I CONVINCE HIM THAT I WANT HIM FOR HIM? I'M NOT LOOKING FOR A FATHER FIGURE OR A SUGAR DADDY. HE IS SO SEXY AND GOOD LOOKING TO ME BUT FOR SOME REASON HE DOES NOT BELIEVE THAT I AM INTERESTED IN HIM. HE'S ALWAYS TRYING TO TALK ME INTO DATING SOMEONE MY OWN AGE. IS THIS A GOOD OR BAD SIGN? HELP! I AM TOTALLY STUCK ON THIS MAN. THANKS

He thinks YOU'RE too old for HIM? Or the other way around? I think you should ask him if he's attracted to you. But don't hound him. It could go either way. Tell him the truth. I'd say,"Do you really think your too old for me or are you just unattracted to me?" and let him know that you can deal with him just not wanting to be with you but if it's the age thing then that's a whole new ball of wax. I think the most important step for you is too find out if he's even interested in you first. Or do you already know?

I had it wrong. He thinks he is too old for me. I can safely assume he is attracted to me. We have kind of fooled around but even with that he was still kind of distant not forward enough for me in that area. You are correct I never did give him a chance to see if he is interested but he did respond to my advances (with conversation and visits) but he always kisses on me on the cheek then I don't hear from her for weeks. He's driving me nuts but I"m really trying to be patient.
