Intro

Hello Peoples.. just a brief intro.

I am 43 and my husband of 2 and 1/2 years is 30. We have been together for 7 years. This is my second marriage and his first. I have children from my first marriage. We have 1 child together and 1 on the way.

Ours was a LDR right up until we got married. Prior to getting married we had spent all of 36 days together. Yes people thought we were insane LOL. However, they were wrong. Our marriage is very happy and easy, we have always gotten along like a house on fire. We used to have fights sometimes when we were LDR and only emailing each other but that all evaporated once we got married. He always said it would but I was doubtful.. but he was correct!

We currently don't have any age gap issues but it is nice to read about others on this forum who have been through similar things, LDR's, family reactions etc..

I hope you will consider hanging around, and giving some encouragement to those in LDR and age-gap relationships. I'm sure you have a lot to share, and can really understand what some of the members are going through.

Welcome.. I am relatively new here myself. How old are your children from your first marriage? How do they get along with the little ones? How is your husband with the older kids and them with him?

My relationship now is much like yours began. He is 360 miles away and I find that to be a bigger obstacle than the age difference. At least up until now. I have an 11 year old daughter, they get along well, but I would love one or two more :)
