After a year...

Well....its almost been a year since I joined Ageless.

This time last year, I was going through the worst break up of my life and no matter what I did, I just couldnt get control back. What can I say...I was so deeply hurt by the one man who promised he would never hurt me, said he loved me, and would do anything for us to be together (this was my YM/LDR from Scotland) As some point his feelings changed, and he took the cowardly way out, and well....as relationships end sometime, it wasnt good at all.

I searched younger men/older women and found this place. The support I got was fantastic back then (anyone remember rosealiscious?) Anyway, it felt good, the comraderie and friendship and support I received....I never left :D

Well...last week he e-mailed me, and apologized for how he behaved, and admitted how awful he handled it. It turns out he had finally gone out on his first date since we broke up and wanted to let me know how he felt before he moved on. Without going into details, his words were very kind and I appreiciated it very much. We talked quite a bit, and he even admitted to being sad and jealous how I had really moved on. I was surprised he had just finally gone out on his first date since me only two weeks ago (though the date didnt work :p ). It was just a great great talk, and we both got to say things not in anger or pain, but in putting past behind us and moving on. :D We are now actually communicating as friends which pleases me immensely.

Anyway, thanks to any of you who knew my story back then and contributed. Its been a fun year here at ageless...Ive made a some very good friends (not just here but through out my years).

And it did help to send that picture I had in the Repub/Demo lady competition....I had bought that top just for him at Anne SUmmers in Scotland back in 2003 but never wore it.....Haha....

and smoothcie wootchies to all (if thats allowed Harrison)

LOL!

Of course it's allowed, silly! ;)

Congratulations on recovering your Scottish friendship and on being here with us for almost a year.

It's been a blast having you read my wacky posts, and being able to read your thoughts as well.

I'm happy to have you here with us!! :) :D

In Spain we have a saying that goes something like "the is no wound that lasts 100 years, nor body that can tolerate it" (No hay herida que dure cien aņos, ni cuerpo que lo aguante) In due time, time heals all!

It usually seems at the time we are going through some type of struggle that we won't survive it. But then we do and most of the time we heal and we learn from the experience. It seems you, Michelle, have cured well! Keep up the good work.

The best to you! :)
