I have a question for anyone out there who may have gone through the same sort of thing. My situation is that I have been seeing a younger man (he 26 me 37) for about 7 months. We have fallen in love and its been a lot of ups and downs with our age dif but all in all its been great, we have both gotten to the point that our feelings are so strong and what hasent been an issue with our age is becoming one, he worries that he hasnt enough to offer me, just starting his career and finding his niche in life, me in that I have 3 children and I know that he wants his own in time I worry that I wont be able to give him that. He tells me that if our situations were aside that I am the girl that he would ask to marry him that he could spend the rest of his life with me, he is going away for work in a little bit and he wants to see how things go while he is away and make some decisions then, he wants me to come visit him, and he wants us to stay together in the meantime, I dont know what is best all I know for sure is that I love him with all my heart. I am so afraid that this could never work, that in 10 years from now he wont be happy with me. Please, some advice or stories would really help.

Your age difference should not make any difference with you two at all. It's not even very large. But....you have to be able to get a grasp on it. In the beginning for both parties, I think, this is an issue that seems impossble to get around. Most of the time each person spends time thinking about it and trying to analize it to death. Lots of time one or the other takes a break thinking they will decide it's not going to work out. There's only one problem....you've fallen in love and that's not easy to get over. So that's when you get to the point you say, Hey, I've got to take a chance because the alternative is walking away. And why do that if you are in love. The other "ifs" can be worked out.
