Hi there. I'm 37 and my husband of three years is 27. We have a great relationship and I know he's the only guy for me. We met at work, were friends for a year, then fell in love. I'm thrilled to have found this site because I don't know anybody else who is in a similar relationship.
My question is this. How can I go about finding other couples with a similar age difference? Most of the couples we end up going out with are my husband's age. And I do enjoy that. But it would be nice to talk to another couple like us that goes through similar things. We are about to try getting pregnant now that we (almost) have our first house. It would be great to find other folks in this situation.
Here's a funny for you on the age gap thing. Last year, we were in the car talking about music and I mentioned the sister/brother duo, The Carpenters. My husband looked at me funny and said, "Who are the Carpenters?" That made me wince and laugh at the same time.
I'm glad to be here! :)

Hi. Most of the couples we hang around are not in age gaps. Some are closer to his age. But we have noticed that most of the couples we hang with are close to my age. I am the o/w. We just haven't met to many couples in age gap relationships. But, truthfully, I don't think many of our friends know that he and I are much different in age. We are 10 years difference. We have been married soon to be 13 years.
Have fun posting here! This is a great place to mingle with folks in our situation. :D

Welcome to the board!
I'm not sure how to go about finding couples with age differences. Just luck I guess? In our case, most of the couples we know are quite a bit older than both of us. I'm 30, my boyfriend is 42, and some of our best friends are in their 50s and 60s. The only couple we know with any sort of age gap is my roommate and her boyfriend -- she's 30 and he's 23. I guess to us the age difference doesn't matter much since we're into the same things and have friends of all ages!
For now, at least, you can interact here, which is a great place. And who knows, you might come across another poster in your area who you could meet up with!

Hello and welcome to Ageless.
I have had a few of those "funny moments" with my partner too. :) He never seems to know any of the music I like. But we get by. It's not that important and it's actually quite nice to be different.

That is how I met my boyfriend we worked together and have
a 10 year age gap, He is 22 & I am 32. We mostly hang out with his
friends only because I don't have too many were we live.
I felt weird at first hanging out with people in their early 20's, he was 20 when we met, so I didn't want to and we argued about it several times but after giving it
a chance I have alot of fun with them. I am not even sure what people my age group are doing now a days ! LOL

LOL, I like this post I am 34 my fiance is 24, we have been together 2 years almost and engaged a year in March. Friends, Alas, I tend be hanging out with his boys and their girlfriends, I have gotten to be good friends with most of the guys, and have done relatively well with the girls. I have always been the tomboy LOL and my friends were mostly guys before anyway. I have a few friends, but they are all married and settled way down.
I love the fact that I feel so YOUNG when I am with him, I have always been the younger minded, younger looking, younger dressing one in my group of friends.
Its funny because most of his friends like younger women, a few have started dating older ones now, I am more relaxed and dont mind when he goes out with his buddies esp since I have joint custody of my son, I dont hire sitters to go out, I only go out when he is at his dads, so it gives my guy alot of free time, his buddies dont get cause their girls are still in that insecure phase. LOL
