Any South Park fans here?

I just watched the show where Butters is grounded for making faces and he isn't making a face. Oh lordie, I'm laughing sooooo hard! I just love Butters!

I LOVE South Park!

I never remember when it (or any other show) is on so I only catch it late at night if I'm flipping channels. Me and a girlfriend of mine a big fans of Mr. Hanky.

I made this great find a couple of months ago - a custom snowboard with, you guessed it, South Park on the top and bottom! I was SO bummed when I figured out that the board was waaay too big for me. :(

I love South Park - that "Ginger" episode is hysterical. Cartman has got to be THE slickest con in the 3rd grade. lol Mr. Garrison's sex change. . .the kids adopting Starvin Marvin. . .the satellite up Cartman's butt. . .Butters is whatever evil villan he's supposed to be . . .so many episodes. . .so little time!! :D

AHYAAH!!!!! See that, Molly, I told you there's things we agree on! :D

Mr. Hanky!!!!!!! Oh no!!!!!! My Mom is 91 years old. One night, we were watching Mr. Hanky and she said, "I cannot believe that I am sitting here listening to a talking poop." LOL

Hidy ho! (Which was stolen from another show, "Tool Time", Wilson used to say, "Hidy ho, neighbor." But he never said, "Hiiiidy ho!"

Why "Mr. Hanky" - why not "Mr. Poopie" or "Sir Turd"?

<G> I think this is something we most definitely agree on! lolol I love Mr. Hankey too - and his soused wife. Whatever gave them the idea to come up with Christmas poo?? lolololol

Butters is my favorite character too!!! oh man, everything he does is absolutely hilarious. he's so naive, sweet and happy-go-lucky, that it cracks me up.

i'm a huge south park fan, but an even bigger fan of butters. what can i say? one of the best comedic characters ever!!

I couldn't agree more! And he is so honest, unassuming and eager! He really is just as sweet as a butterball candy!

My first introduction to Butters was the show where Cartman sent him into the bathroom to provide a semen sample for their pretend, FBI investigation. I won't give the details because, out of context, it sounds crude, which it wasn't, but it is one of the funniest skits EVER!!!

I love Butters. The time he was going to get back at everybody by flooding the world with the back yard hose and he takes over the football game? hehehe

I like Cartman too. There's some things he does that's just hysterical. The time he's out there trolling on the big wheel as a cop because the Chief couldn't read?? lololol One of the detectives at work has a poster of Cartman the cop with "Respect My Authoratay" in big red letters in his office. We laugh ourselves silly every time we see that thing.

Or the time the boys need Cartman to ride the bull at the carnival so they can win those cheap Terrance and Phillip dolls and he hits his head and thinks he's a Vietmenese prostitute named "Ming Lee". Him running around screaming "Sucky sucky, only five dollah!!!" was funny as heck.

Molly, you hit on so many good ones!!!! I've posted these things in other places, but they belong here, too.

I can do a perfect Cartman saying "I'm not fat. I'm big boned."

Cartman makes me laugh everytime he opens his mouth but one of my favorites is, when asked if anyone knew what sexual harrassment was, he said, "It's when you are making love to your sweet lady and a guy walks up behind you and tickles your scrotum."

And I just saw the "you will respect my authoritaaay" episode again the other day: to see him coming over the hill on his big wheel with his aviator glasses absolutely slayed me!!!!!

Okay, now how about Timmy? I LOVE HIM!!!!! I also do a great imitation of "Timmaaaaaaaaaay!!!" when he's excited and a low, self-satisfied, "Timmay" when he knows he's nailed it. What an ingenious idea and what a terrific character!

Oh yeah, Timmy is hysterical too. I loved the one with him and Gobbles the turkey. hehe

What did you all think of Chef's send off? I think to say that Parker and company were a TAD pissed at Isaac Hayes would be an understatement!

Butters is the best! He steals every episode he's in but I'll just talk briefly about a couple of my favourite epsiodes that come to mind right now:

The one where Cartman dresses up as the robot AWESOME-O so he can learn Butters' secrets and Butters thinks it's a real robot. And Butters ends up becoming attached to the robot and saying that he's his best friend and he loves it. Just to see how sweet and naive he is so hilarious.

The one where Cartman thinks he's dead because everyone except Butters starts ignoring him, so Cartman convinces Butters that he's a ghost.

The one where Butters falls in love with the waitress at Raisins because he doesn't realize that she's only being nice to him so she can get a bigger tip and he gets all obsessive about being her boyfriend. priceless!

Sorry for rambling, but I just love south park and I love Butters!!

Oooo, poor Butters! I've seen men do that in real life with strippers!!!!

Oh yeah, Timmy is hysterical too. I loved the one with him and Gobbles the turkey. hehe

Loved it! HOWEVER, I am still torn: were the writers spreading their creative wings having Timmy say, "Gobbles" or did they sacrifice the purity of their vision???? :p

How about Timmy the Punk Rock Star? Timmy the Metrosexual?

How about the one where the new boy joins the Boy Scouts and becomes the new cool handicap kid - much to Timmy's shagrin. His revenge is so awesome!!! (Said in a low voice, self-confident, in control) "Timmaay".

What did you all think of Chef's send off? I think to say that Parker and company were a TAD pissed at Isaac Hayes would be an understatement!

Dya think?

It was great fun reading the comments on the South Park boards. If they coulda found Isaac, I think they would have tarred and feathered him!

Fox News reported that Isaac had a stroke in January, that he was not capable of resigning, and that the resignation letter was the product of Scientologists. Although I don't think the story was validated by any other news service. was it?

Even if he resigned because of the Scientology episode (ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL - especially when the listed EVERYONE who produced the show with an annonymous name like "John Smith" so they couldn't be sued! LOL)
I'm not sure that any devotely religious person could stay working on South Park!

And John, being in the South Park thread means never having to apolgize for gushing over South Park!

Eponavet, to agree with you that they were great episodes (at least I think there was a Part I and a Part II) I know absolutely nothing about gaming, and I STILL thought they were hilarious! Now THAT's great writing!

----------------------

I know I'm not the only one that does imitations of the characters. Like whenever I see the Michael Jackson episode, I walk around for days saying things like, "Oh doggie, please do a poo. You don't want to do a poo? Oh, that's just ignorant," in a high, airy voice! :D

-------------------

Another sign of their genius: When I saw the episode about Satan's Holloween Party and Steve Irwin came in with the stingray stinger in his chest, I thought it was really in bad taste and inappropriate, but when Satan made him leave because he wasn't wearing a costume, I laughed at the joke - in spite of myself.

------------------------

Another favorite line:

Towlie: "Don't forget to bring a towel!"
Cartman: "Towlie, you are the lamest character ever."
Towlie: "Hey, hey, I know."

LOL I didn't see the episode when Garrison became a female ... but I'm sure he only did it to prove that he wasn't gay!!! LOL

I wasn't able to get into the wii episode, but that that has happened to me several times on a first viewing. The first time I saw Towlie, I blocked it out, and now I laugh every time he gets stoned or says "Don't forget to bring a towel." These episodes grow on me - like fungus! LOL
