Congratulations - you got 10 out of 10 correct!
kilimanjaro 03-26-2006, 02:03 PM As a clarification, the US Citizenship test is much longer than 10 questions. Some of the questions are more difficult. One asks, "which constitutional amendmants relate to voting rights?" I recently helped a friend who had lived in the states for the past 10 years study for the citizenship test.
Charlotte 03-26-2006, 06:38 PM I wouldn't want to take the official test, since i only scored 1/10 on this one!
D'OH!!!
I only got 7 out of the 10 correct....but apparently still passed. Hmmm.
I'm curious to know which ones you missed.

Congratulations - you got 10 out of 10 correct! HONK!! HONK!!
Ed369 03-27-2006, 11:57 AM This reminds me of the time that I was told by my employer to go and train the employees of a US Embassy. I had to fill in a security vetting form and one of the questions was whether I had belonged to or had ever belonged to a terrorist organization. I was half tempted to lie in the subsequent interview and invent some terrorist front- such as the The Popular Front For The Liberation of Wessex! But judging by the surly marines on guard around the building I thought it unwise!
PinkCat 03-27-2006, 12:22 PM I failed! But I'm not a US citizen, nor do I want to be... so that's a-okay! I got 5/10. I'm impressed with my 5/10!!!!

If so, I'll be going with you.
FYI: People don't likely usually enter into that test 'blind'. There are study guides and sample tests with the real questions , and all kinds of books available.

Yeah, but these are just basic questions that anyone who has taken a high school American History class should know. Of course, I happen to be a history enthusiast, even though I'm not greatly interested in American history. I admit if this were a test over some other subject, like basic algebra or basic chemistry, I probably wouldn't do very well on it without studying for it.

Probably. That's what I get for basically 'skipping' high school. I took my equivelancy exam after only attending HS for a total of about a year and a half.
gonzo73 03-29-2006, 06:06 AM Does that mean i get the boot as i only got 6 out of 10 right......does this mean i will have a bad day also   :(

5/10. I failed. But considering that I'm not a U.S citizen, I was surprised I got that many right.
OK, OK. I admit, I just guessed at some of those answers and got lucky! :p
lencarol 04-02-2006, 12:34 PM Got 9 of 10 right. But I like History too, and even moreso in our present trying times....Can't figure which one I got WRONG?? :(
