If I'm not mistaken that wasn't a Boyz II Men song......That song "I swear" was sung by "All 4 One" which was another group that came out in the early 90's....I don't know if Boyz II men re-did it because I don't recall it....

It's got to be the most annoying, repetitive and monotonus "song" I've ever heard. One time I was waiting to get my hair cut, a radio was playing over the speaker and it came on and there was nothing I could do to get away from it. Sheer torture.

I AM WOMAN by Helen Reddy is my personal pet peeve. It made me want to PUKE in the 70's ... because it states the obvious in the most unartistic way possible ... I always had to turn it off before I barfed ... it reminds me of a bad commercial ... and it became the women's rights anthem of that time ... it made me embarrassed to be part of the women's liberation movement ... these have to be the worst, most tasteless lyrics I've ever heard ... check out how "toe to toe" rhymes with "embryo" ... ugh!!!!!!!!

darlyd: Yes. Adore most of the old school punk. Have Iggy's "Lust for Life" set as my cel phone ring. Clash was my favorite then I became a fan of Joe Strummer's Mescaleros, until he died. :( Currently listening to Tom Waite (kind of sort of qualifies as punk...mostly just weird...lol.)

I can name one that really grates on me - its become really popular in the past two years: reggaeton.
