A real Mess

Hi, I've been reading all the messages on the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I met a wonderful man, I am 41 and he is 53. He is married, going on 26 years. I am living with my ex husband and 15 year old son, but I am not commited to this relationship and havent been since I moved back in with him 2 years ago. The man I met has been struggling to leave his wife for years now. We started working together 3 months ago and a month ago realized that we both felt a deep connection. We only work 3 days a week together and the other 4 days we talk. We can't seem to keep our minds off of one another.
Just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to getting things off my chest once and a while. :)

Sorry, but I do not trust men (or women) who struggle for years to leave their partner. If they really wanted to separate they would get a divorce. Thousands of people do. Make sure he is not playing you.

You're not in their marriage to know one way or the other what is going on.

You don't know what his wife has had to put with herself for the past 26 years. I think you're old enough to know that when you set goals for yourself, more than likely you will attain those goals.

he saw you coming. No matter what is going on in the marriage, the one true flaw in this man's character that you're aware of is that he cheats. If you feel that this is all you're worth, fine...go ahead and make the excuses for yourself so that you can feel better about the whole relationship, but don't play dumb in thinking you're all that to him. Because if you were, you wouldn't be a dirty little secret because i'm sure he hasn't told anyone about you.
