About 10 years ago I had an intense crush on a girl 10 years younger than i. I was 30 she was 20.

I was married at the time, and never acted on it.

I have since divorced, and she's also recently available. I have never expressed my interest to her, and have no way of knowing if she has any feelings at all. We have met for casual lunches and things but never broached that subject.

I do have a girlfriend that ive had for a while, its gotten somewhat serious with her - and i think i have to end that, so im only somewhat attached right now.

Anyway, i understand that i have to end my current relationship, but thereafter i wonder if the 10 year age gap is too much to overcome.

It would seem that we might be at different stages of our lives, but i can't help but wonder if i shouldnt just ask her out on a date and see what she says.

What do you all think?

10 years difference not much to overcome, specially now that you 2 r older and hopefully more mature, but before you ask her out, please have no g/f in the pic... But break up with the g/f for the right reasons, so you don't regret it later.

Good luck!

PS If you don't ask her out nothing gained! But be available emotionally and otherwise!

i say go for it. as long as you aren't cheating on anyone, yes, even 'almost' available would count as cheating......then give it a shot.

good luck

10 years is definatly not a big deal and you can definatly overcome any issues you may have. My husband is 17 years older than I am and we are very much in love!! We have a 21 month old son and we are planning on trying again the end of this year!!!

Once you have ended things with your current G/f then Go for it!! Best of Luck I wish you the best!!
