Which one would be harder?

I've seen some people on here say it isn't age that matters, but stage of life you're in, so let's say we've got:

Couple #1--girl 19, man 26
Couple #2--girl 25, man 38

Would it be easier to be couple #1, because of a smaller age difference, or couple #2, because the younger of the two is pretty much "all grown up" AND could possibly be in a similar stage?

I think it would be easier to be Couple #2.... even though the age gap is larger, by 25 it is a lot easier to know who you are than at 19. So I think there is a greater opportunity for longevity with the second couple. But that is JMHO. :)

Yeah, couple #2. I think that the last teens and early twenties are that critical learning stage...and it's more unlikely that relationships will end up long term.
