I just thought it'd be nice to make a post of all the successful, famous couples who are quite a number of years apart, just to show that people DO make it work, and nothing is wrong with it.

And loads more, of course. At the end of the day, these are regular people with age gap relationships, and some of them have been in committed marriages for quite some time. Age really is just a number.

I was also sad when I read that. But it didn't have anything to do with the age gap, I don't think. Just they grew apart. Too bad though, I thought they were so good together.

Agreed--Catherine Zeta Jones & Michael Douglas are a handsome couple. I love them, both are great actors also. Such a good couple.

I hardly look at Michael and Catherine as an "inspiration" for my relationship. There is so much more that goes into this than with ordinary people.

How about Celine Dion and her husband René Angélil? Their age-difference is 26 years. And they are my personal favourite. They have had to go through alot....but they're still together.
To me they are the perfect example of true love! :)

Age Gap Relationships aren't new for him though:

- He created a scandal in England for sleeping with his married school teacher at 16 (I believe she was 31 at the time). They later had a child together (When he was 23). =15 year difference

- He just recently had a child with a 31 year old woman during a time he and Hershey claimed they were "quietly separated". = 6 year difference (does that age difference really count)

Well, I just looked these guys up, and there's actually only a 4 year difference between them! Been married a LONG time though, for a hollywood couple.

Zac Braff (31) and Mandy Moore (22) split up a week ago and they're blaming it on a large age difference. That sounds like a lame excuse to me. It seems to me that the age gap aspect of celebrity age gap relationships gets too much attention as being the reason that these relationships fail and not enough attention is paid to the celebrity aspect as being an important part of the downfall of some of these relationships.
