Sorry you are having to go throug this. I really believe honesty is the best policy in this case. To me, this looks like some sort of rediculous scam to get your email and information. If you have to "test" your partner this way, then you unfortunately do not have a relationship built on love and trust. It is almost kind of sad to see people relegated to these types of things to find out about their partners. (Besides, who actually is dumb enough to click those kinds of offers that they get in their email inboxes? I know I get all kinds of spam (a lot of it "erotic" type things) and all I do is delete them! I am terrified of getting another virus on my computer.)

My suggestion: figure out why you are suspicious of your partner cheating, and determine whether this is a form of insecurity on your side, or whether your suspicious feelings are valid. Does he go out late/ not come home at night and not tell you where he was/ where he is going? Does he spend a lot of time on the internet and quickly minimize the screen when you walk in? Does he have "emotional affairs" with women who he claims are "just friends"? If that is the case then be honest and candid and just ask. If he is cheating, confront and find out now.

Again, sorry you are having these feelings. Good luck to you getting things sorted out. If I am making the correct assumption though, and your birthyear is 1986, just remember you have a lot of life ahead of you. If he is indeed cheating, move on and consider it a learning experience. Do not let this eat you away-- most of us have had to deal with an ex or current partner cheating at some point in our lives unfortunately... good luck!

It is only cheating if you get caught. :p

Maybe you can tell us a little more about yourself and your relationship.

Without the details, I don't think anybody can really offer you much more advice. To be honest, the original post seems like spam to me.

I'm sorry if you are being genuine and I've misunderstood.

This is a site about relationships, not anti-relationships. I don't understand the purpose of posting such a negative comment in response to the original post.

I was referencing the cliche. Besides, I was kidding.

I hope that statement is simply a dangling modifier.

He means that this sentance reads as if the boyfriend cheated on you with your parents and your sister.

The sentance should have read....When I was on vacation with my parents and sister, my boyfriend cheated on me.

Yes, that is it. It was the prepositional phrase. :p

Hmmm... a prepositional phrase... is that anything like a propositional phrase?

What's that rule? One should never end a sentence with a proposition? No, I think it's that one should never end a sentence with a prepostion!

LOL

Nice to see someone who can work and play with the language.

Just read this recently:

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

Yep. We've probably hijacked the thread... but I sincerely hope people don't take these online (or in a magazine) tests too seriously.

Would I be a true Buffy the Vampire Slayer (BtVS) fan if I could not? Joss Whedon was a master.
