Lost loves

Has anyone ever tried to find someone online that they lost before? I lost my soul mate due to rotten circumstances five years ago and now I really would like to find him. I feel that I cannot move on until I get some closure. I heard rumor today that a year ago he might have been looking for me. I've tried to make myself untrackable... I have his social security number, birth date, etc. Anyone know which people finder is best? Any help would be most appreciated!

If all else faills, try identity theft. :p

There are tons of people finders on the web. They can usually track anyone. Yahoo's "People search" is a good place to start.

I did this a couple of years ago. I have to say, I've regretted it ever since. I should have left well enough alone. But, I guess you never know until you try....

I tried everything - people finders, downloaded investigative software - all a waste of money. Especially today when many people only have cell phones and move much more frequently.

If you have $100 or so, call a private investigator. He'll call you back in less than a day with a phone number and address. They have access to DMV records and can get info that is nearly impossible for a lay-person to get unless, apparently, they are criminals! LOL.

Trust me - I tried to find him fo 8 months online and got nowhere and wasted money. I should have called the PI straight off the bat.

Hint: don't tell him or anyone you hired a PI. It can creep people out and make you look like a stalker - even if you have pure motives - and can come back to haunt you if things don't work out. Unfortunately, if all leads run dry, that's your only option.

My guy and I dated for nearly 2 years after we reunited. But, after things went sour and then he was killed by a mugger, his ex wife and family turned me into the "crazy stalker lady" who killed their loved one by luring him back to the big city. Nevermind that he was 40 years old and WANTED to come back to be with me. He felt we were soul mates, as well. Unfortunately we weren't and he was a troubled alcoholic. I guess if it weren't for him and that relationship, I never would have met Jeremy, so I can't say it was a total loss.

I found my long lost love through the help of the internet after 22 years of being apart!

The only regret I have is that I wish I had found him again a lot sooner, as I feel that 20 years of my life has been wasted.

I'm in the UK and it was through a website called friendsreunited.co.uk, it is a really big hit here, not sure if you have similar in the US.

Try this website called SearchSystems.net. I've used it before a long time ago to find long lost family members.

Needless to say they aren't lost anymore. :D
