Ahh toddlers. They want one thing and then another. It is like dysiphyering(sp?) a puzzle. My son does that, although he has never really done temper tantrums(knock on wood). This is where we learn a whole new meaning of the word patience. There are somedays I wish I was deaf from all the whining and others that I thank God that my son is so easy and lovable. Love em up!

Ah MerAlove, the joy of motherhood. Dennis is testing you and he knows how to make you forget that your annoyed with him Kids have a way with doing that. They have us wrapped around their little fingers. The little terrors LOL. Enjoy it becuase it doesn't last very long. Just wait until he becomes a teenager and he thinks that the world revolves around him, then the fun really begins. I am dealing with 4 of them and I just want to scream. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Mer, try think of it in terms of stages of growth and development. I know when my son was a toddler, it was very helpful for me to get info from my pediatrician's office about what happens during each phase of their development. Really truly, everything they do has a purpose behind it, usually to help them determine where/what their limits are.

For me, somehow just knowing that what he was doing was "normal", and that it would pass eventually, helped so much.
