Has anyone ever done well on it?
My mom and I began yesterday...we each wanna loose 20 lbs. I put on 10 in college...so I guess just loosing 10 would be okay bit my larger goal is 20.
My cousin lost 20 lbs and my uncle lost 50 lbs. We're not going to the meetings we all ready have the materials bc my mom has been on it before. I don't like weighing myself in front of anyone.
I also exercise at least 4 times a week. So hopefully it works. My OM is gonna start when he returns from vacation.

My mom has lost 25 pounds in several months on it.
The only thing that I would say is that the meetings are good as like an "external push". I understand about not wanting to weigh yourself in front of people though.
I would say that if you are able to self-start and continue on without the external push that meetings would give you, it's a definite good way to go.
Good luck.

I have only heard good things about it, too. By the way, you can do weight watchers online on their website.

I lost 25 kilograms on weight watchers (45 pounds) and have kept them off for a couple of years, combined with really rigorous exercise...hey i'm a fat chick at heart!!!
I do gym nearly every day and walk my dog every day for 4 kilometres (2.5 miles)...every morning...the good thing about weight watchers if you go to their meetings is you hear other people's tips, stories, you don't have to disclose anything, you don't weigh in front of anyone, they are very respectful...but you learn a different lifestyle that stays with you......and you can do that online. i found the meetings very motivating, I didn't usually say much, but I enjoyed the support and feeling good about my weight loss...
good luck...its a lifestyle not a diet though..
the best thing i learned.....if you go overboard one day and binge or eat too much it doesn't mean you've blown the deal....you can ALWAYS start again tomorrow...

Weight Watchers is a good weight loss program, will work for you if you are consistent most of the time. I’m not suggesting perfection and a life of constant denial, but let’s face it, if we want to make changes in anything in life we have to make some sacrifices.
Sending you positive thoughts~
