I just logged in, typed a really long message about my relationship, and when I tried to post, it wouldn't let me and said I wasn't logged in.

Now the long message I needed help on is gone, and I have no energy to write again!!!!!

What's wrong??

Actually, now that I think of it, I might have posted by accident to the younger women/older man page, and then I wasn't logged on to that one (do you have to be logged on to each one??) and therefore it said I wasn't logged on.

Is there any way to get it back??

if you just type your name & password again & sign in, then you can use your back button to go back to that page you just wrote on & post it.

Susie, your post is not in the YW/OM section either. So, it looks to me like it is lost. In fact, the last post of yours that you wrote prior to day was done in April. So, yeah, unfortunately, I think it's gone.

When you log in, it may help if you click on the little box that says "remember me". And, like Azula said, if you go back, you might still be able to see what you wrote, then copy and paste it into a new thread. As long as you do that before you exit out of this site.

edited to add: By the way, you can only post if you are logged in first. If you aren't logged in, before you even can reply to a post or create a new thread, it'll tell you that you aren't logged in.

And once you are logged in, you can post anywhere in any section.. but again, the last post I see for you was posted in April.

This has happen to me as well. I login (although I am always logged in at this site), write my post, and when I hit the button to submit reply, sometimes I get the page that states I am not logged in OR it goes to a page where it says 'this site/page' can't be found'. Now I can hit the back button and my post is still there. For some reason the way azula and Whiterose have explained what to do, doesn't work for me, as I will just keep getting the error page/or please sign in page.

So I just open another window, click on this site (under my favorites), it will show me as still logged in here, then I go to the thread I intended to post to, hit the button to reply to the post, at that point I copy and paste my post from the old window that was open into the new. Works for me.

Sheeesh ... I always said I sucked at giving advice. I think after I post to a thread, it ends up killing it. There are like three out there right now in relationship support. ~LOL~

Susie, this happens to me all the time with this new server the site has, but after I have written my post, when it tells me to log in, and I do, it always takes me to the post I just wrote, so I can preview it or post it.

Also, I have noticed that there is a time out on the new server. If you don't do anything for a period of time on the site, it logs you out!!

Katrina -- can that be changed???

I really don't know, Peachy, but I'll send a link to your post to Rob-Admin, the site owner/administrator to make him aware.
