We are getting a new doggie. We are not certain which one though. A local pet rescuer has these two sweeties and we have in an application. These two are the ones she will consider for our family. Tomorrow we have an appointment to meet Miss Star and Miss Katie. Biscuit will go with us to see what he thinks also since he's part of the family too.

This is Miss Star. She weighs 6 pounds and is 3 years old. She was given up by an older lady that was ill and could not care for her any longer.

This is Miss Katie. She weighs 14 pounds and was rescued from an animal control shelter just before being euthanized. She is 2 years old. The rescuer says she is very friendly. She had over 50 ticks on her face when the rescuer found her:( . But she has been treated and up to date on her shots and all is well now.
So...we shall see if either of these sweeties work out for us tomorrow.
I somehow think Katie might be the best for our family since she is bigger. Biscuit weighs 12 pounds now. And he is soooooooo excited allllllll the time. I am afraid he will just overwhelm Star.

Okay. We got "Candie" as it turns out. Her name is not Katie.
Little Star was sooooo teenie weenie and sooooo scared. Candie will work out just fine with us. She is already fitting in. Biscuit of course had to show out and bark and sniff and bark and sniff. But he seems to be adjusting some already.

Aww, congrats on the new baby! I think I would have picked her too. She's a lucky girl!

Have fun with her; two dogs are a lot of fun. Getting my younger dog was great for my old girl...even though she acts like he's annoying when I'm looking.

Biscuit has gone crazy over Candie. Loves her...hehe. He's like, wow..a girl...

Oh, They are an age gap couple (o/w-y/m). Minor tho. He's 1. And she's 2.;)

Probably a bigger age gap for doggies! Too bad you couldn't get both. But Candie is really the pretty one! My sister and I went years back to get a pet for my nephew at the humane society. We saw the cutest pair of sister kitties, so just HAD to get them both! Named them Cinder and Ella, cute!:D :)

Kindanice - - - They are so cute together and I'm sure Biscuit is thrilled to have a playmate! :D

Lencarol - - - Ya gotta watch splitting those names between two critters. I have a friend who had two schnauzers and named them Bubble and Gum . . . Bubble died and she was left with Gum . . . and everyone always wanted to know how he got such a strange name!

That is funny, Peachy. We did end up calling Ella something else: Daisy. She had to go back though, as she was SO aggressive. She would get up on top of poor Cinder and "go to town" so to speak, weird cat....

Congratulations! Absolutely adorables :)
And I love to see people taking animals that have been abandonned or cant be taken care of anymore. Its a wonderful gesture.
Thumb up girl :D
