Today in Rome at concert packed with moronic fan she put herself on a cross depicting herself as Jesus I guess. Even for her this is an all time low. I guess nothing is out of bounds any more. The fans did not even have the sense to turn their backs on her and walk out. In my book this is the saddest part of the whole thing.

But, apparently those who are don't seem to be bothered by the lengths she has often gone to for the sake of expressing herself. In fact, it seems that the more extreme she becomes, the more people like her, and therefore, the more money she rakes in.
The only credit I give her is that she is a master at reinventing herself, which is necessary to sustain such a long career.
catlover 08-08-2006, 06:20 AM I've always been conflicted about her. I'm impressed (like WR) at the way she keeps reinventing herself, and I do think that her marriage to Guy Ritchie seems solid.
BUT-
What she did in Rome was very insensitive

she is a phony, it is not authentic to manipulate an audience and that is exactly what she does.
her ego is obvious and so is her heart, possibly she needs to be in rome and ride out her last bit of hoop-la, as for the states i think many are sick of her.
i actually saw promise when she studied Kabbalah but that seems to have bored her also, i truly believed if she did understand the mystic God connection she would have some type of respect for Jesus, i dont use the word Pig at all but she fits your description.
she is one year older than i am, as a certain age i believe we improve and want to improve life around us, we develope some type of character if we live a life that has served others for their benefit, she does the same tired tricks and yet people still pay to see her. she is disgusting.

I think Madonna is tame compared to the next generation of Britanny Spears, et al, and I think her kissing Britany (which she told her children was signifying her passing the music onto the next generation) was really her trying to suck some of the youth from Britany! LOL
What do you think about the *****cat Dolls? To me, they are VERY confusing for young girls, flaunting their sexuality while showing disdain for the males that respond to it.
