Take a look at Ms. Juliet Mills and her hot hubbie, Maxwell Caulfield. She was truly ahead of her time!

And if you look at the photos carefully, it's clear she has not had any cosmetic surgery. She's 18 years older than her husband, who is my age...47!

Oops. The link didn't work, but I know exactly who they are, because they are my favorite celebrity age gap couple. I love the fact that they have been married for what? something like 24 or 25 years. And he is 18 yrs younger than her, which is the same age difference as between my bf and me.

oh my god, I thought, who is that woman, she looks vaguely familiar??? then I looked at her tv/movie history on the link for her, and she's NANNY!!!!!!!!!! lol! I looooooved that show! haha, that is great! Funny, I've recently thought of that one, and how no one probably remembers it. That & 'Please Don't Eat the Daisies', haha, loved that one too. Ahhhhh the Nanny comes through in the end, same age gap as my Rob and I! Looooooove it!

I know this couple too. Never really followed them until I was in an age gap relationship. Think he's the guy from Grease II, lol. :D

Fabulous couple! Why so little media coverage??

Umm...maybe because they're happily married? How boring is that. ;)

She's the daughter of the late British Actor, John Mills. And also the older sister of childhood star, Hayley Mills, who was a famous and popular child actress through the teenager years during the 60s, I think. I believe she is or was on that sitcom about a school, is it Saved By the Bell? Juliet Mills starred in a TV show, "The Nanny", I think it was the 70s.

Anyway, like Faith, says, Juliet Mills and her husband have been happily married for 25 years and she also has always had a very wholesome image...so no news there, right?;) No one wants anyone to know about this story!

Well hey, here's a fact that might be of interest to those who are debating the ability of a VYM to commit to the long term....

Maxwell Caulfield was only 21 when he married Juliet Mills.

Thanks, Rozie...you're right. "The Nanny" was the more recent show with Fran Drescher!

I really liked both Juliet and Hayley Mills and their sweet movies.:) Juliet has a very nice looking husband for sure!;) I just saw John Mills in a very interesting older movie, where he was the butler or valet, forget the title.

I sort of breezed by this without much comment, but the vain little devil in me bagan to study that close up picture last night...lol. She is truly a beautiful woman! I shared this with my YM last night...."yes she does look older but is gorgeous....maybe there is hope!" He just laughed and reminded me that that's what he's always thought. Anyway, its a great story and I also wish we knew more about this couple.

I didn't know Hayley and Juliet were related, what's the connection?

They are sisters. I believe that Juliet is the older of the two. Their father, John Mills, was an actor, too.

I agree. And I really admire that she has the confidence and guts to smile for that great close-up. She does look older. She has wrinkles, but she has that incredible smile as if she's saying, "I don't really care what you think of me! Here I am!"....yet in a very gracious way with no apologies.

They are a cute couple. I remember when they got married...the media made a big fuss over it.

I remember an interview she made a few years ago, not sure if it was the View or not, but they asked her how is it that she married a man so much younger and stay married for so long. She answered that it helped that Max hated being single and dating, he hated the whole Hollywood scene and was looking for a good down home girl to marry apart from the land of make-believe....he had always looked forward to marriage with one woman, and having that whole Sunday dinner thingy at Mom's. She also said, the reason it works so well is because she was lucky enough to marry a man who loved her if not more then she just as fiercely, his love was simple and courageous and constant, and he wasn't afraid to let it show.

At the beginning she was a bit overwhelm by his age (so don't think this was "hot diggity" i got myself a young stud reaction), it took her a bit to get used to. But as she had stated earlier, his love was constant, unconditional. If she were to lose her hair to cancer or a breast, she knew and saw the soul of this simple, happy man who loved her.

it was a great interview...its one of the reason they stay away from the "plastic people" of Hollywood...and its constant partner changing. They didn't want to be influence by its ever barrage of constant changes and at some point believe that's what they had to be like to be eternally happy. It was an inspiring interview.

I vaguely remember it too -- didn't they get married the same year as Charles and Diana??
