So, you are shopping in Costco or Wal-Mart, looking for deals and -- BAM! -- you see them in Aisle 4!! There they are:
Cornflakes for $1.99. The amount is 5 times what you get in a standard box of Kelloggs.
Then you notice the brand-name. They are imported corn flakes made by Hezbollah. The Lebanese militia group which considers itself a group of freedom-fighters has a newly established food manufacturing division.
:D
What do you do? Please vote to indicate your response.

I don't really like cornflakes.
But if it were something good....say....lucky charms...
Then I'd have to say yuck.
Of course...I've never been a fan of generic food. *grin*
Nadine.
I ALWAYS say, "Put your money where your mouth is." I only spend cash with companies I can get behind....90% of the time. The remaining 10% are things I just can't resist.
Like my personal escort service, yanno, things like that....
But then again, I'm not feeding a family of 12. Until you get your belly full, you can't really make decisions about which seal you're going to beat to death for your next fur collar.
Edit: by the way, I've been accused of being "too serious" and that I need to "chill" so I'm taking that to heart and letting a little of my "fun" side out.

About that "feeding a family of 12...." etc. ROTFLMAO!!! :D
Kat, you just crack me up!!
Nadine: You too. :p
By the way, I haven't voted yet. I think it's funny that we have at least one taker for Hezbollah Corn Flakes.

Okay, I will add my vote to the "I can't pass that deal up!" selection.
I'm not a corn flakes fan, but the amateur political scientist in me would want to see what kind of breakfast cereal a Muslim militia could make, just out of curiosity.
:D
So, I'd go for a one-time purchase. I doubt if I could be a regular buyer though, given the negative public image the group has.

I agree with Kat, put your money where your mouth is. I always give preference to products made by my customers, or made in my country or the country of my customers.
In the past I have bought products with labels in Arabic, I have had bad experience with juices but good experience with flour products.
I have also bought products with lables in Chineese and I have had horrible experiences.
