The BBC's award-winning One Life documentary strand is carrying out initial research for a film that we are hoping to make about relationships between older women and younger men.
As society changes so that women have more choice and independence these relationships are on the increase and much has been written about the advantages for both men and women. I am hoping to speak to women and men in the UK about their experiences to gain a better understanding of the subject.
As a team we are known for our ability to produce sensitive, thoughtful and intelligent films, which enable people to tell their stories from the inside. The films do not involve a reporter and have no current affairs agenda. They are observational documentaries that give people the opportunity to tell their own stories in their own words. We aim to tell stories that we feel are important; stories that can help to increase the public’s understanding of a subject.
If you would be willing to have a chat in complete confidence about your experiences, please call 0808 100 49 50 or e-mail northerndocs@bbc.co.uk.
