Steve Wynn pokes hole in Picasso...skatergirl 10-18-2006, 01:39 PM http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061018/od_nm/picasso1_dc Mark 10-18-2006, 01:41 PM I never liked Picasso. I prefer neoclassical art to modernism. skatergirl 10-18-2006, 01:43 PM I never liked Picasso. I prefer neoclassical art. lol!:D Picasso must have stirred in his grave though!! kat7 10-18-2006, 05:26 PM You know, I hate it when that happens! kittylane 10-18-2006, 06:55 PM actually the painting does nothing for me, a woman with a penis growing out of her head. ok, its weird, its shocking, but its BLAAA ugly. the hole is actually an improvement. LADave 10-18-2006, 07:28 PM Many rich people seek to make names for themselves as patrons of the arts, and of those quite a number succeed. Now as for Steve Wynn, he's gone down in history as a "Poker of the Arts." Belisama 10-18-2006, 10:44 PM LOL - I wonder what it'll be worth now that someone famous poked a hole in it! kat7 10-18-2006, 10:46 PM I was thinking the same thing! Like, I bet 200 years from now, it'll be worth more than a well preserved Picasso just because of the story behind it. Kristin 10-19-2006, 07:38 AM I always liked that painting but I never made the "penis" observation! Silly me. And I was an art student. Jeresey brought home a painting from kindergarten yesterday that she told Jeremy was of him. No discernable head/arms/body etc like she usually has of people. We both thought 'Picasso!" at the same time, LOL! :D |
