La Familia Ageless...

I just felt like writing a line or two to share the good feelings I am experiencing at this moment...

I have only been on this site a year but I feel I am part of the people here. I usually do not send PM much, but just reading the posts on (almost) daily basis I feel I have gotten to know lots of you and it feels like familia...

We share the good, the bad, the ugly and the greatness of human nature...

I like it here even if I may be a step-child! jajajaja

Now carry on with your lives but continue to share. I like it how la familia grows all the time! :D

Es nuestra familia, Alta!

We bicker, we brawl, we don't like everybody, we're everybody's best friend. We have weddings, divorces; we rejoice in births together and we've mourned deaths together. Our children grow and we share what's going on in our lives. We have been together for years and we welcome new family members... some jump right in, some take a while to warm up and some just prefer to stay on the peripheral... eso si que es...we're a real, live family with all of its idiosyncracies. And, as a people watcher, I love it.

You are definitely FAMILY, not a step-child. :) I am very glad that you found us!

i love new people, different perspectives, its great to have you and anyone else who finds this site, there are some great folks here. i am glad you found ageless but no one should be considered a stepchild! you belong here as does anyone else with an interest.

yes yes, yes ... i just told someone about our little site and i can always say with ease that it is such a warm and familiar kinda place.

i've been here quite a while and have rarely run into any ... problems.

This is a nice thread.:) I have also thought many times about starting a similar thread. I have been on here for a couple of years now. I had to change my name once because of some junk...
But anyway, since this thread is here, I would like to say this. I came here when I was having some very difficult times in my life. And I would just like to thank those who have been such great friends. I never aired my laundry so to speak, but just having the frienships here really has helped me to move along in life. So, see I guess you never know what a person is going through and how just a friendly post or PM can help someone.

For those that don't know, Alta and I talked on the phone for a good long while when I had to make a decision about law school.

Her advice as a lawyer was helpful and I feel fortunate to have such good people like her in my life. :)

I have considered lately that I should not be here since my main OW/YM relationship bit the dust a while ago, and even my days of dating YM may be over since I'm dating a man my age, and we're crazy about each other.

But, I can't seem to leave - for selfish reasons. I can't seem to give up such a wonderful, truly caring family.

Well, SG dear, I do not have a YM/OW relationship, as a matter of fact I have really never had any significant one, and as of late I have no relationship. But I think as long as we are able to contribute our experiences (my ex-husband is 23 yrs older than me) about life and not just necessarily as to age gap relationships, by the way relationships between couples have lots of similar issues, regardless of age, we are all contributing to this site and to the betterness of human kind, as I see it.

So mi querida SG do not leave our familia, we need your wisdom! ;)

Nonsense SG, it's all a matter of perspective. Unless your guy happens to have been born at exactly the same moment you were, you are STILL either an OW or a YW...and both are obviously welcome here! ;)

I feel like I have been here forever now, and Ageless is a part of my daily routine. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't come here and connect with all the people I have "known" for so long, and get to know all the new family members as they come along.

And yup, we have definitely had our ups and downs like any family, but Ageless will always survive. I been a member at other sites (on different topics), and I have posted on other sites (again, different topics) and I have yet to find a forum like the one we have all created together.

And you know, now we have such a diverse membership, doctors, lawyers, nurses, veterinarians, nurses, real estate agents, I find I don't have to post anywhere else to get advice. Most anything I post on, we have an expert right here! :)

Finally I found a pic of me small enough to post... But I do not know how long I will keep it up.

ALTA = tall (5' 10.5" plus heels = 6' 2")
RUBIA = blonde (naturally but needs fixing because of the greys)

We have so many beautiful women here! The men we just tolerate, lol :p

I met lotsa friends here, SG and my sister Despina. Life keeps me waay to busy to get here every day...but I check in when I can.
