She has brought so much joy to our little family. And I truly have fallen in love with her. It's such a strange feeling, knowing that because I exist, she exists. I mean, that's sort of obvious when it's one of your own children, but to see another life that I am partly responsible for, yet didn't have to go through the labor. :D It's just amazing.
Only 4 days until she comes to visit Mammaw! :p

whiterose 10-24-2006, 04:38 AM Thank you Sheila and SG. :D I am very proud of my little family. You know, I have been married twice, one child from each marriage. I made very poor choices in husbands, which lead me to raising my children single handedly. And it's not been easy for them, but at the end of the day, I think my children have turned out to be really wonderful human beings. :)
And now to have a new generation coming forward is so wonderful. Like my daughter said last night, Natalie (my grandbaby), is carrying it forward for us all. :)
