Daily thread anyone?? 10/30/06

Hi, I dont know if this is done here, since Im new....on another bulletin site Im on and its a way of getting to know each other well, and sharing the day, sharing happy and even sad times..........lots of fun and many new friendships!!

Not alot going on here today.......kids at school, my OM is at the office tying up some lose ends and going to his meetings before he heads to Denver tomorrow for a week........ man its gonna be a LONG week!!!!

Im off today, so Im going to hang out around here and do laundry and maybe study some. It just amazes me how many towels 2 teenage boys can use in less than a week............why is that??

Since its after 11, how bout some brunch?? A little fruit, bagels, muffins, coffee, and juice for everyone.........

Just going in to my new job today.... so much to learn.... it will be my second day. It's very involved, lots of reports and figures to deal with.... but there's one thing I don't have to worry about anymore and that's my now ex bully boss..... yay!

Busy, busy day for me. I had 3 meetings today at work. In between meetings, I had to load performance reviews into the system for my employees that I am evaluating this week.

The president of our company was in town today to hold a meeting with us managers. The meeting was broadcast in 14 different locations throughout the country via videoconference. We've done that before, but not that many locations at once. Technology is cool. :)

After work, I went on a hunt for a pumpkin because I hadn't had the chance to buy one for Halloween. There are NONE to be found in my town. So, for the very first time ever in my adult life, I won't be having a jack-o-lantern.

I did manage to walk out of the grocery store with things I didn't need... like Doritos (buy 1 get 1 free). Also bought two packages of Bertolli pasta (love that), a large bag of dog food for my doggie, oh and another bag of Halloween candy (which I probably won't need because I never get many trick or treaters).

I am now going to go eat dinner, and then watch Most Haunted that I recorded earlier.
