Dating

Are there any men here who ended up dating a teacher you had during your school years?

Though I suspect you are talking about maybe teachers from younger years (ex: highschool), I am an OW university prof dating a YM former student. (We followed all rules of the university though.) In 15 years of teaching, it had never even crossed my mind to be interested in a student. Asking me if I was is like asking me if I was interested in my own brother or cousin-- that's how much it wasn't even on the radar for me. My (now) YM approached me at the end of the semester to tell me that he wanted to get to know me better-- I gave him a standard speech about how that wasn't a good idea but, thank you, I'm flattered. This speech was not some cover because of "consequences", I truly wasn't interested because it was inconceivable to me... again, not on the radar. I din't think anything of it after he left my office that day.

Our paths crossed a few times months later and somehow things developed-- I'm still not quite sure how. We are blissfully in love and I am a better person for it-- he really brings out the best in me and I have never felt so unselfish in my life as I do with him now. Even though we researched and followed the university rules, I feel like if people really knew how we first met (most people don't), in conjunction with the AG thing (13 yrs), that I would be viewed as some sort of "predator", so it puts a strain on me at times. (Notice how I've mentioned the "university rules" thing twice now?) We are going to break the news to his parents at Christmas time-- they have met me before but don't really know "who" I am. :o

Not me, but my French teacher in High School sure gave me the OOOOOOOO LA LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!

I was asked to stay after class now and then as I recall ... guess I must have misbehaved a time or two by accident. ;)

WoW i would have loved to have been able to date about 5 of my old school teachers especially the high school ones ;)
