Hope for the Holidays

Hi Everyone

I haven't posted here in a long time, some of you may recall that I had age-gap,culture-gap LDR for a while. I am posting now to give encouragement to those of you with difficult relationships.
After almost 5 years we are still together and very happy. It took some time to get there but but have found a place in the world where we can both be comfortable and not worry everyday about things like visas and immigration.
Together we have published a novel and are hard at work on the next one (won't link to it here out of respect for forum rules, pm me if you are interested).
If you love someone and want to be together any obstacle can be overcome, don't give up hope, work for what you want.

In a world where there's lots of prejudice and narrow-minded people, it is hard for people like us to step out and be accepted.


Althought I am not officially with the woman that I love, I will have the privilege of spending the Holidays with her and her family.


I am really looking forward to it.
