Attractive31 12-29-2006, 07:42 AM Hi all,
It is now December 29th....I get this nostalgic feeling to the December celebrations lol I guess mostly because I am along this year for a first time in a long time (by personal recent choice made)
I have not yet decided what or where I am going to end up for the big night. There are a few choices for me at the moment.
What and where will YOU be opening 2007??

junglelion 12-29-2006, 12:05 PM Well there is nothing for me this new year, MS reduced me to a wheelchair, but fortunately almost every astrologer i ever met predicted a complete turnaround after jan 15th.
Just too many coincidences in December month to ignore their predictions.

LADave 12-29-2006, 01:58 PM New Year's Eve: Looks like it will be at home this year, which is fine. I get nervous about the drive home in the wee hours of January 1--too many drunks. Also, I'd just as soon not drink myself. New Year's DAY is my favorite day of the year and I don't want to waste any of it on a hangover.:)
New Year's Day: Rise early and see the sun come up for the first time in 2007. Shoot my first e-mail of 2007 to Susan, a woman in my Toastmasters club who also much prefers DAY to EVE, and whom I'd love to date. Go out to my coffee hangout for a leisurely latte, and wish Happy New Year to the other regulars. Spend quite a bit of time reading. Start getting my house really organized. Cook up a steak dinner.
vharlow 12-29-2006, 02:08 PM I'll spend the weekend consoling family members, as there was a death in the family the day after Christmas. Things around here are pretty somber right now. Things may calm down when school gets started again, and the Christmas stuff is all put away, but this was a Christmas that won't be forgotten easily, unfortunately. It was my nieces husband, but we were all close, and I took my turns caring for him, so we are in the thick of mourning here.
I do wish all a very Happy New Year and you can all celebrate for me! I'll feel like celebrating in a couple weeks.
If we ever get any snow in Virginia, I will be celebrating that!
jesique 12-29-2006, 09:28 PM vharlow...I had heard about that and I'm so very sorry for your family. I will definitely be keeping yall in my prayers.
I will be volunteering in the afternoon on NYE...and then Alec and I will be attending First Night Raleigh 2007. It promises to be a fun night (hopefully the rain holds off a bit) and at midnight we'll get to see the giant acorn drop! :D
Nadine.
vharlow 12-30-2006, 08:17 AM Well, hoist a few and dance till you drop! Besides being down, I'm OLD! We will watch TV for a bit and commiserate with family a bit, and hit the hay early.
I'm certain you will have a wonderful New Year! 2007 should be a confusing year, but it may be a better one. We all pray so, anyway.
MerAlove23 12-30-2006, 08:43 AM VH I'm so sorry.. I know what thats like My Grandmother died on December 23rd 1999 and its not easy around the holidays....
We are ordering CHinese and watching the ball drop.... I dont' like to go out even if I could ( hence i have a 2 year old who needs to be in bed) because there are to many drunk drivers out there... Scary to be out on the road IMO...
