My name is Andrew. I am an 18 year old boy from London, England, and I have been in love with a 28 year old woman from Barcelona, Spain, for several months now. We both fell in love [with each other] when I was only 17 years old. My oldest previous girlfriend was 17 or 18 (or 19?) years old, although I have also been involved with women as old as 30 in the past. My longest previous relationship lasted for 2 and a bit years [and that was with a girl of 13-16 years old].
We have communicated every day since we met (by e-mail, by post, by telephone, by text message and/or instant messenger, every day for more than a hundred days), and I love her more than anything.
I hope that her parents (Spanish Catholics of peasant stock) will be understanding of our relationship (and I expect that they will be when they see how much I love their daughter), although I doubt that they will be told about me until I am at least a few years older. "Older woman/younger man" relationships are still taboo, but one doesn't really choose who one falls in love with, does one?
I have never been so in love with anyone else, and I know that I am young, but I know already that I would like to spend the rest of my life with her.
I look forward to getting to know some of you.
