Finally I love my job...

Been one heck of a couple weeks...

Two weeks ago, I started my new job. I work tech support for a school district. Specifically, I work tech support for two elementary schools. I split my time between the schools each day. Morning at one, afternoon at the other. I'll be busy until the Summer time, because they are both horribly lacking updates and proper PC care....lacking critical updates and updated software....

Everyone has taken to me wonderfully, and people couldn't be nicer...

I still can't get over wearing a nametag that says, "Mr. Shues" (no, that's not my real last name *lol*)....once I'm there longer, I'm sure the kids are going to start saying Mr. Shues...

It's quite funny, actually....I must of made one heck of an impression on my supervisor, though. Because starting in two weeks, I'll have a THIRD elementary school added to my roster. I'll go to the third elementary school on Wednesdays.

For the first time in five or so years, I really enjoy my job. I'm just so busy though, and quite tired in the evenings....bsorbing everything. And just tired from being so busy...my day goes by so fast.

Looks like my life finally is falling into place. I'm also currently slowly dating the woman that went MIA on me for awhile. We're taking it slowly...and I'm sure things will sort themselves out in time. My mind is still confused about that whole ordeal...but, in time, it will get better...

I guess Dan_Shues finally IS growing up and onward...

Awww, wonderful news! On both the job front and dating front! I'm so happy for you.

Will you still continue to work during the summer? Or is it just that things will slow down then?

So, does this mean that you're going to move out of your zombie infested bedroom at your parents and into a zombie infested place of your own?:D ;)

Thanks all! *smiles*

Katrina...I'm actually off during the summer. Two months...I follow the teacher schedule. Two month long vacation? Maybe I'll do some things I've always wanted to do but didn't have the time. That, or I'm gonna be the laziest SOB ever! *lol*

Molly...*LoL*...the zombie obsession will stay. Kelly, the girl I'm seeing, knows of this and is fully accepting of my weirdness. I haven't shown the teachers that side of me yet...not sure I will...and I definetly will NOT show the kids. Last thing I need is for them to be scared to come into the computer labs...*lol*

Danno,

Your job sounds like a ton of fun. And doing tech support for elementary schools, and all the updates, etc. you are doing, you'll be a super hero guy in no time.

So make sure your cape is washed for the school play.

Enjoy all the good things life is bringing your way.
