Hello from Canada!

Hello Everybody,

I got the address for this site from the book "Older Women, Younger Men" by Felicia Brings and Susan Winter. I have been watching a few posts and I think it's great. A place that talks about the real issues. I'm single at the moment. I have been working on myself. I don't have friends who are in relationships with an age difference. So it's very comforting to know that I can talk to somebody.

What did you think of that book?

Im glad you have enjoyed the site so far, and really look foward to getting to know you better! Have a look around, and jump in whereever you feel comfortable.

I really enjoyed the book. It gave the permission to have a relationship with somebody younger than me. For as long as I can remember I always attracted "younger guys" even when I was a teenager. And for a long time I was told by my family and friends (strong catholic background) that only perverted and troubled women went out with guys yonger then I whatever age I was at the time. So being a good girl I married somebody 4 years younger. That marriage lasted 7 years. Being single again at 29 then I was still attracted youngers guys but those ones had addiction problems. Again I was reminded by my friends and family that the age was the problem. So I started too look for somebody older than me. That was a real treat now it was men with addictions + crazy exes + kids. I got nothing against exes my ex remarried and I consider his wife a friend and I don't have a thing against kids I have a lovely 16 years old daughter who is still the love of my life and I work with kids. So I decided to take a break from this craziness. Now at 45 i'm taking things slowly and not running the other way when a charming young man smiles at me. I'm giving myself permission and if people don't like what I do with my lovelife they can always look the other way.

It's nice to share and know that you will not be judged.
