I am looking for intimacy. Intellectual intimacy. Emotional intimacy. Spiritual intimacy. Physical intimacy. I believe these four intimacies are the foundation of a strong and lasting relationship. Also, I want the foundation to be level; that is, these four aspects play an equal role in the relationship. HONESTY, integrity and willingness to be REAL are must haves.
Intellectually: I enjoy an open yet analytical mind. I desire someone who is interested in the world around him and still has that child-like sense of wonder (somehow I've managed to keep mine).
Physically: I am a very physically intimate person. I love to touch and be touched. You must love and enjoy physical intimacy. Age and body shape are, for the most part, meaningless to me as they change over time. What is important is the way you hold, caress, treat and touch your partner as the feelings that contact produces do not change.
Emotionally: Much harder to describe, so I don't think I'll try too hard. Aware of self and boundaries - physical, emotional, sensual, mental. I don't want to know every thought, merely the ones that interest you and that you are willing to share.
Spiritually: Also hard for me to describe. I am trying to understand the roots of my spiritual nature. I'm not there yet, but then again, its the journey that counts -- I want a traveling partner :)
My current interests: reading in general (.. I love learning), watching good cinema (and some bad), walking, exploring :D and enjoying local theatre. In the future I would love to begin writing and travelling - everywhere.
