If you all are wondering whyI have been around so much the last month or so, well, I'll tell you:)
Last month I was diagnosed with beginning stages of emphasyma and copd. (please everyone, stop smoking. and wish me luck in doing the same).
Now on tues night I was teaching class and while doing a very simple step my foot stayed and my knee kept going. I dislocated it:eek:
I am such an advocate of knee safety and have never had an injury to mine.
This sucks. The knee, after pain enough to want to vomit and pass out at the same time, is now back in place and healing but I am so afraid that this will happen again!
Anyone had experience with this. Or had it happen again after the initial injury?
My students were absolutely horrified and the look on their faces when I went down, was awful. Almost worse than the intense pain itself............ALMOST!
This is nuts, now on top of major lower back issues, chonic herniation of my C7 disc in my neck, copd, I have knee problems. Good Lord, it is hard to go see the doctor these days.........my Dr. never knows which issue of the day it's going to be:eek:
I'll be damned if it is going to bring me down ............yet!
Blessings, TD
