Knee Injury

If you all are wondering whyI have been around so much the last month or so, well, I'll tell you:)
Last month I was diagnosed with beginning stages of emphasyma and copd. (please everyone, stop smoking. and wish me luck in doing the same).
Now on tues night I was teaching class and while doing a very simple step my foot stayed and my knee kept going. I dislocated it:eek:
I am such an advocate of knee safety and have never had an injury to mine.
This sucks. The knee, after pain enough to want to vomit and pass out at the same time, is now back in place and healing but I am so afraid that this will happen again!
Anyone had experience with this. Or had it happen again after the initial injury?
My students were absolutely horrified and the look on their faces when I went down, was awful. Almost worse than the intense pain itself............ALMOST!
This is nuts, now on top of major lower back issues, chonic herniation of my C7 disc in my neck, copd, I have knee problems. Good Lord, it is hard to go see the doctor these days.........my Dr. never knows which issue of the day it's going to be:eek:
I'll be damned if it is going to bring me down ............yet!
Blessings, TD

dang gal, bless your heart!

you sound like me, i joke that i need to take out accident insurance....on myself! lol

i had my knee scoped not too long ago, it was tough to recuperate because of my MS thing, left knee and my left side is the weak side. dang knee still bothers me.

sending you strength in your endeavour to quit the smoking, you can do it tho, i'm sure

praying for ya to feel better soon!!!

LOL Trace,
Thanks guys.........I have a quit date:( " my bday........in 13 more days.
I am going to use this new prescription to help.
I wish I could exercise more than I am able to right now though. DA%^ knee:mad:
Now, I am having to have an MRI b/c doc thinks that my ACL is torn:confused:
My boss just started the process of filing workman's comp.
She won't even let me come into the studio and watch my girls until after this MRI.......I am going nuts. I , in all my years, and bumps and bruises, have never been on workman's comp.
I have 21 pieces of choreography going that needs major clean-up and, a few, still aren't finished yet.
I NEED to be at work right now:mad:
Funny though,I have been sitting here splicing the music for my " Sounds of Silence" concert next fall and realized, in this whole process, that my whole life can be summed up in five Simon and Garfunkle songs:eek: .
