LOL...that's a nickname a good friend of mine bestowed on me because he said I looked like Claudia Grant from the Robotech anime series. Actually I sort of do when my hair is cut shorter.
Anyway, I'm Kym and I'm from Los Angeles. I'm 40 years old and my significant other is 31. We've been together for six incredible years and have no plans to get married. The fact is, our relationship works because we each have our own space and we trust each other implicitly. He's a long-haired vampire tech geek prog metal keyboardist with a taste for dressing up like a peasant from the 16th century. Me, I'm a writer with a taste for fountain pens, corsets and own books than clothes.
We actually met at a goth club in the "playroom" (me on the St. Andrews' Cross and him sitting there, arrogant in silk and velvet with a glass of absinthe). The rest as they say, is history.
Enough about me--this is an awesome forum and it's always great to see that so many women are shedding antiquated ideas of age and beauty. real men, no matter how old they are, recognize true beauty and kindness and don't allow society to dictate their choices.
One more thing--if you happen to be in the L.A. area at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, stop by the Javelin booth and ask for Mistress Blackberry or Lord Elix...we'll be there!:D
Tootles,
Kym
