Trying to relax with it...

I think I'll ask him if he was ever attracted to women that were older than him previous to this. I think it would make me feel better to know that he had.

Then I would know there is no point in wishing I was younger. Why wish you were younger if your man likes older women? Could backfire though if he hasn't.

Just looking for things to help me relax with this.

Well try to think that maybe it's not the fact that you're older that attracts him - maybe it's just because you're you.

I'd say a better question to ask him would be: "If I were your own age or younger, would you still be attracted to me?"

He enjoys being with YOU! AND your age contributes to that greatly. Embrace your experience, wisdom and older age! He may not have been attracted to the younger you;)

Don't obsess about the AG.

YIKES!
Am I going to have to chase you around to different threads to tell you that this 15 year age difference is probably a GOOD thing??? As I said, I have the same age diff in my relationship and honestly, it's a NON-ISSUE! My b/f looks about 7 or 8 years YOUNGER than he is. He is constantly being carded when we go places (while they stare at me with "the look", never EVER asking for my ID. harumph.) That's about the ONLY time I ever think about it. Honestly, I think the only thing that's going to make you feel better about it is spending time with your ym and coming to the swift realization that he really DOES enjoy your company, WHO you are and all the wonderful things that come along with being a mature woman! But reading all the posts here at Ageless should help as well... these relationships not only CAN work, they work BEAUTIFULLY.
Don't make me hunt you down in more posts girlfriend. I SO WILL. ;)

Thanks for the awesome post Sienna,
I had written this thread before I read your reassuring post on the other one, honest!

Today is the day. He's on the road. He'll arrive this evening....

In the last few days this forum has made a great difference in the way I see this playing out. Not only should I take one day at a time (which is where I was out with a lot of apprehension thrown in) but now I have reason to expect good things to come. Some say GREAT things. I'm open for that now....

I'm not crazy about the idea of feeling insecure about the lines in my face forever but... there are things to deal with in any relationship. I'm so excited to see him, I have lots to do. Happy Saturday everybody!
