I am so excited to find this community!
About me:
I just turned 45. I am recently separated from my husband of 20 years. I have been his caregiver(after a terrible car accident) for neary 17 years, and will continue to do so until he no longer needs me. However, we had been husband/wife for 12+ years in name only. We separated because I was dying inside. I had become fat, unhappy and barely living. I finally "woke up" last September, and decided that I did not want to wake up a bitter, old woman at 70 whose entire life had passed her by.
So, I spoke to my IS (ill spouse), and told him that I needed this...that I loved him, and always would care for me (as long as he wants), but that I wanted a legal separation. he relectantly agreed.
Since that time, I have undergone a remarkable physical and mental transformation. The old me is back, and I feel fabulous!
My first encounter with a YM happened shortly after my separation-he was
27, a bad boy (tats, piercings-and a record). And a heart of gold. I adored him, and he saw past my fat, and too-big clothing-and made me feel like a woman again. unfortunately, he also broke my heart-and just started a jail term last week for his 3rd dui in 18 months.:( But I will be forever grateful to him for what blossomed in me during our brief romance.

Now, I am dating a ym that is 33. He is so sweet-I am his 2nd ow. However, I also know that we will not end up together, as he wants to get married someday and have a family. And I never want to be married again.
So we are going to enjoy this for as long as we can.

I find it amusing that I am so attracted to ym, since I was the yw in my marriage-spouse is 18.5 years older than me.

I currently have a ym(20) that I play pub poker with, that seems to have a crush on me. He is trying so hard to impress me-lol.

Anyway, I am so happy to have found this site, and look forward to contributing-and learning-here.
