After 6 months of driving myself demented, being wracked with guilt and even writing angsty, gothic poetry about the unfairness of who I fell in love with, I’ve found somewhere I can talk and share my experiences.

I’ve spent the last couple of days reading through some of your stories and experiences and slowly but surely it’s finally sunk in that I am not an evil, youth stealing monster. I’ve been with my YM for almost 6 months, after knowing him for just over a year before that.

I’m really looking forward to making friends here, dealing with my screaming insecurities :rolleyes: and just accepting what is happening in my life.

Thanks for making things a lot easier to deal with.

I love the frank "girl talk" and the guys point of view here. It's good to hear. You reg guys and your straight talk are so refreshing because you tell it like it is. Of course it's easy for me as a woman to see where a woman is coming from but men don't think like us as far as I'm concerned and I appreciate the honest observations from the men here. They don't seem to be about the games. All of you, both men and women, are great fun with a mature outlook and that is just nice for a change.

Of all the men I have dated (and even one I was married to), not one was my age or older. Most were significantly younger. You are by no means stealing youth. You are providing wisdom of experience and love that has been fine tuned.
