I thought I would check out this place and see what people have to say. I am divorced for the second time. I was married the second time to someone 12 years younger than me. He was the light and love of my life until my mother died and things went bad and got worse after that. I am guessing that all the responsibility he felt unprepared for made him do stupid things but who knows?

I can not for the life of me get into men who are much older than me. I offended one such person greatly when I posted at another site that it felt like the guys I was looking at reminded me too strongly of my dad and stepdad both of whom died relatively young. Dad was fifty one and my stepdad was sixty.

When i read about your YM getting all freaked out when faced with the passing of your father reminded me of when my marriage started falling apart when my YW began to lose her family Dad and a Brother she had been thru the passing with me of my father and Mother but when it hit her too close to home she fell apart and no matter how much support I gave her and her family she just could not handle it so we parted , that was 8 years ago and now I have a new partner I'm 56 and she is 22 Hows that for an age Gap ? but we are meant to be together as we both agree that we are just what the other was looking for and we hit it off in about every aspect of a strong relationship .
I saw your pic and may I say that you are a very lovely young woman and I'm sure that soon you'll find a YM that deserves and wants a sharp cookie such as yourself . :yes:
