Hello from LB!

Hello all-

I am new to the forum. I found this link when another member from another forum I am in mentioned this site. Jellybean.... are you here. It is BaseballBabe.:bgrin2:

Anyways, I am a 33 yr old woman dating a 57 (I think) yr old man. I forget sometimes how old he is because age doesn't matter to me. We are in an on-again, off-again thing. Both busy working and other stuff going on.

I have been thinking a lot lately about stuff. But for now, I will not share that stuff until I am comfortable here.

I am a Die Hard Baseball fan! I am ALL about baseball. :bgrin2: :yes:

I am from California.

Since you're a big baseball fan I'll share a joke I heard last year that you should get a kick out of (forgive me, I don't remember it word for word):

A mother and her child appear before a judge for suspected abuse.

When the judge asks the kid what's been going on he cries and begs not to send him back to live with his mom because she's been beating him every day.

The boy's grandmother steps forward and says that she will take her daughter's child in and promised to take better care of him. The judge agrees to the living arrangements and sets a hearing to follow up.

When the grandmother and boy appear back in court the boy begs not to be sent back to live with the grandmother. He sobs, telling the judge, "Please don't send me back there! She beats me even more than my mother did!"

The judge reprimands the grandmother and mother. He shakes his head and informs the boy that he will have to live in a group home. The boy pleads for a different solution to which the judge agrees to see if any one else could take the boy in.

When the judge returned to the bench he confidently replied, "I have a solution."

"Since I was deeply concerned about you being beat again, I had difficulty finding a safe place. But I believe that I have found one. You will be placed into the custody of the Pittsburgh Pirates since they've proven they can't beat anyone."
