i luv this place already :)

hi my name is denise and i am so thrilled to find other ow with ym. yay!!! i've read some really great stuff already that makes entirely too much sense. My bf and i are 11 years apart and we've been together almost a year and a half. we are a great fabulous couple and we get thru most everything within days and we both have tools that we use to look at ourselves that i truly believe has enabled us to last and to last strong. i've read some stuff already about the body image being an older woman...and geez!!! you guys are sooooo right. i know he luvs me. i've had a feeling most of the probs are my insecurities and my refusal to accept where he's at...so i was hoping this would be a great way to vent to folks who understand and not barf all this stuff on him all the time. not that i wanna barf on you tho. hahaha. just hope to help and be helped.

yes.. we just had another conversation this morning in which I reassured that that yes... while I do see her as the most beautiful woman I have ever met in my life... that involves so much more than her beautiful body.. we aren't kids here.. things happens.. we grow older.. but that beauty.. will ALWAYS be there. I may never end her insecurities... but she trusts me .. and I would never tell her otherwise if I wasn't 100 % sure of my feelings for her. I'm sure your ym is the same as me in that regard. Not all men buy the bullshit that society tries to sell us.. and you all.
