New to the threads

I guess you are supposed to pose some sort of retorical question on here for people to ponder and answer or something. All I've got is, "If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?" and "What is the sound of one hand clapping" lol. Where are the ladies with a sense of humor? I want to hear some funny stories or something entertaining!

Actually, that is what YOU are often expected to post in this section. And offer your comment or opinion, and see how others react. ;)

It could be almost anything -- how people drive; what kinds of tight pants they like to wear; whether they like to drive stick-shift or automatic, etc., etc.

Stick shift, in a newly waxed car when it just starts to rain and watch the water bead up and roll down the hood.

Clapping with one hand, would that be a clap??? It would be like kissing in the air with no lips to touch, something would be missing.

HAHA. That just gave me a good chuckle just picturing it. :D

If a tree fell in a forest, it would make a sound - there just wouldn't be anyone there to hear it (kind of like all those jokes you want to tell us now - they are there, but there's nobody here to hear them until you write them - so get to it! :D )

I like to drive a stick shift, but right now I drive a nice car that was chosen more than any other reason because of the comfort I have in turning to see behind me when I'm backing out of parking spaces. Also, the wheel turns so smoothly, it is less painful for me to drive, so I can drive a little longer distance than I would in some other car.

Oops.. speaking of cars and driving.. I have to go pick up my kids from school.

(If a kid is angry at being left somewhere, does he make a sound? YOU BET!!!)
