Wow... Not only were the notes hit beautifully, but there was some kind of emotion behind it that seems to be missing from most child singers.

It brought tears to my eyes, too.

You can find a lot of amazing people from that show on You Tube.

Have you seen this guy? Paul Potts - Singing Nessun Dorma (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k08yxu57NA)

Here's his semi-final winning performance. He's such a beautiful soul. Paul Potts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDB9zwlXrB8)

I've never seen anyone make Simon's jaw drop. This guy did. His voice sent shivers down my spine and was so melodic I actually thought it was a joke the first time I saw it. He should have been contracted on the spot!

Both of these videos (Conny and Paul's) not only showcase an amazingly talented individual but the type of person I love. So humble and likeable I wish them both the best of life.

And she's such a cutie, I hope she has the greatest life ahead of her and is able to use that voice of hers! :)

Here's their website, hopefully you can find more of the show. http://talent.itv.com/

You can't watch their links directly from the site (something about UK privacy). What I did was go the the latest stories and then searched for the people's acts on youtube. Look for Rebecca and Donovan on youtube. Wow! I don't even know who I'd pick!

I've gotta tell y'all . . . I HATE Opera!!! I hate it to the point that when someone asks me what kind of music I like, I tell them "Anything except Opera!"

BUT . . . I love Paul!!! His voice is amazing and the emotion he puts into it just reaches out and touches you. But, beyond that, you can tell this is a guy who is so humble, non-assuming . . . a guy who really has heart. I am applauding him all the way! :)

Now, I have been watching these clips this evening and this one had me literally he-hawing to the point I was almost crying:

I'm not sure if Peachy's talking about this guy singing OPERA, but I thought it was amazing for someone so quiet/shy.

I also saw the little girl sing and OMG, the tears were rolling on me too!

The one with the drag queen and puppet was absurb but funny.

Wow....

both of these people (Conny and Paul) were amazing and brought tears to my eyes. I have to say, Paul just COMPLETELY blew me away. I do not know much about opera, but I can't believe how his voice gave me chills and made me cry.

Wow.....

wow! I'm so glad he won, too. He brought tears to my eyes when he sang, too. Not only is his voice amazing, and the feeling he brings to what he sings, but his singing brought back memories of my grandmother (who sang opera, too).

I never used to like Opera. My grandmother could sing beautifully, but I just didn't get into Opera myself. She and my mom were good friends with Sherrill Milnes, too, who also has an amazing voice. Still it wasn't for me.

Now I have to say I think I join the British public who are going "potty" over Paul Potts. I keep listening to him singing over and over again - looks like from the comments left on those youtube pages that's what a lot of people are doing, too.

was like an angel's, what she has cannot be taught, it is a Gift from God, that is her calling and talent obviously and that is why it made people cry, (me included) you can feel love when she sings, beautiful!!!!!
