I bailed....

Some of you have followed my posts, regarding Brendan, my ex YM in Iraq. Well he came home a week ago. We discussed getting back together, but it just won't work. He is having some issues and I am here as a friend to help him in any way I can, but my romantic feelings are just not there any more. Just an update......

He is in the Army National guard, not full-time. He has had 4 overseas deployments so I think he's done deploying for awhile. I believe that commitment has ended but he's still in the guard.

You were reasonable and forthright. Both of which are commendable traits in my eyes.

You are such a beautiful woman I'm sure he sees this as his missed opportunity but life has bigger plans for us than we have for ourselves! (Even if I have trouble believing in that sentiment most of the time! :tongue2:)

You have your reasons for not continuing where you left off which could be a good thing especially if the feeling is gone. It's never good to play games with people. Huggzzz to you sis.

He's done four tours in special forces, he's going to have issues that'll affect him for the rest of his life. It's a hazard of the job...just ask Rob, he was special forces for six years.

Wow, that's really ashame, girl. You waited for him to come back and it's not working out as you had hoped.

I hope you are doing ok. Things like this are darn hard.
