Hello Everyone

Hello Everyone! My name is Christy I'm 27 yrs old & my boyfriend is 18 Ive been searching for about a week now for a place on the internet where i can find advice and find people in the same boat as i am so to speak. Me and my boyfriend Matt have been together for almost 6 months he is the frist younger guy i've been with. I've taken alot of crap from people that i have known all my life and the people i work with about the age gap between me and my boyfriend. At time i wonder if im doing the right thing. We are very much in love which most people find hard to believe with him being only 18. So i have been trying to find a place where i can find a little inspiration & people to chat with who share the same issues i am having now. I really look forward to being a member of this forums and i hope many of you can enlighten me!! Hope to chit chat with everyone soon

This is a great place of inspiration....... pull up a chair and stay awhile! ;) I emphathize with the part about catching flack over him being 18. My honey is 18 and I'm 38....... only a couple of good friends know about us, as we are still "online only"......but it doesn't stop them from harassing me daily about it. These friends actually care about me, but for some reason they find it hard to believe I have not lost my mind, LOL

Thanks Bunches Gypsy for the warm welcome. It's great to finally be in a place where people are just like me :O) It's comforting thought knowing im not alone. I was in also involed in a online thing for almost 2 yrs but he was the same age as me and in a diffrent country so I totally know what you are going thur you get lots more flack than i do im sure because i went thur that also for a long time. My friends think i have deff went off the deep end and need to seek consuling :O) but im in love and thats all that matters to me

Don't worry so bad about what anyone else thinks, nobody is responsible for your happiness but you.
My boyrfriend was not quite 18 when we met, and we've been living together for almost two wonderful years.
He has a very demanding job in healthcare, he's loving, nurturing, responsible, very mature, not only for his age, but for any age.
If I'd given this up because of what people thought, I'd have missed out on the happiest two years in my life, and the love I never thought it was possible to really feel.

Hello Christy and Matt. A little over three years ago, at the age of 18, I was getting involved in an 11-year age-gap relationship. So I'll be watching your relationship and its developments with special interest. I hope you'll appreciate everything agelesslove has to offer.

There will be times when you'll feel you can't confide in your friends because they wouldn't understand, and this place is full of people who won't (necessarily :P) call you nuts and who can relate to the things you're going through. I've found the archives to be a great place to read about people who've lived similar experiences.
