I read an article on Mike Tyson on his recent 49 sec win over his opponent. I can't believe Heavy weight fights don't last 12 or at least 8 rounds. It is so sad because people waste money to see the fight only to last a few seconds! I seen fights on spanish tv that is held in the US and at least these lighter weight guys duke it out for the full 8-12 rounds. I do believe in getting your money's worth when watching a fight. What do you all think?

It is hard to be a boxing fan these days. Lennox Lewis and Roy Jones are two of the best and most high profile boxers, but there aren't any quality opponents for them in their weight classes. Mike Tyson is a joke, pro wrestling matches are more legit than Tyson fights these days. Lighter weight boxing is doing well, though, lots of great fighters, guys like De La Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosely, Felix Trinidad...but because they're not heavyweights they don't get as much coverage, which is too bad, their fights are a lot more exciting to watch.

that 49 second win that Tyson got was a scam

I watched the fight and if it wasn't obvious that the guy basically 'laid down' in that fight to Tyson.. I dunno what would be

dude laid there till he got counted out practically then he gets right up like nothing happened. the whole thing looked sketchy.

no less.. Tysons right hand that he 'knocked him out with' didn't even barely connect.. no less, have force behind it.. and the dude fumbled to the mat.. and people saying "knockout".. well, I would like to meet someone who can be "knocked out" and take his mouthpiece outta his mouth while being knocked out.. which is exactly what happened in that match

then after.. Tyson goes on and says he needs 2 more fights before he even attemps Lennox Lewis. ya, I wonder why.. maybe because he knows that Lennox won't "lie down" for him.. and the payoff with these other guys doing it for him (just to be in a match w/ Mike Tyson) and Mike leaving the ring with money in his pocket

no less.. in the same interview.. he says on how his new tribal design on his face is just a new way to express himself.. and he isn't so much into boxing anymore and he enjoys being home with his babies (kids) and how he enjoys being home and smokin (weed) .. great role model he is.. huh?

*gets off soapbox*

That was fixed BIG TIME. He had all of his baby mommas on an episode a week later, he couldn't even remember all thier names.
