Hello!!!

Thanks for checkin' on me! I haven't got much time these days to do much of anything. I have another temporary job. I won't say anything more about that just yet, except to say it's VERY interesting and I'm enjoying it a lot.

I have just signed a lease tonight... *gulp*

I have been either passed out after work or on the weekends have been packing, cleaning, and organizing for my move. I will take possession of the property Friday night the 24th. It wasn't my first choice because of the cost and location, but the location may turn out to be okay afterall. It's about a 30 minute walk from the kids' school, so that's good because this year my son has to be at school 30 minutes before everyone else (something about a "zero class" schedule - too many kids, so some have to start class at 7:30 in the morning - he got "lucky").

Here's the good news about the house: I liked the hard wood floors in it, and they have just refinished them - so they are like brand new! wooo! They are also wanting to leave some beautiful area rungs there, too, if we want them because the match the decor of the house. I don't like pink houses, but hey... pink is the color I look best in, so .. LOL..

This is the best part: The landlords told me tonight that they pay a gardener twice a month to come and take care of the grounds... AND (I've NEVER heard of THIS before!)... they pay for a maid to come once every 3 months and do a deep cleaning of the house if I want it!!!!

You can call that GOOD LUCK for me! LOL Makes some of the downsides not so bad afterall.

oh and another good thing is that it's the only place I looked at in the past months that is one level. So I don't have to be killing my knees anymore with stairs all the time. Moving will be easier, too. I can have everything just moved to the garage of the place and move the rest in myself as I can get around to it.

I'll take pictures of the place. I'm starting to get excited. It's not so private as I would like (no naked sun bathing... LOL.. just kidding), but at least there is a place to sit outside there. The place has a YARD! YAY! I am going to ask the landlord if they will let me get a storage shed if I need it.

With the YM... I'll just have to tell more about that later. I have a very bad cold right now and need to get to sleep. The people at work think so far that I have a lot of "energy". They don't know I'm passing out the moment I reach home... no, actually - earlier than that. I sleep on the train. But I keep waking up in a panic in the middle of the night, too.

Somehow the child support payments got stopped completely - that's part of the stress.

Anyway.. I hope to be moved by Aug 26th, so will come back after then to give a full report. I don't know how to hook up internet anymore though. It's been 13 years since I did it last time and that was just dial up. It may take me a while before I'm back to the net again.

oh one more good news: for some reason the internet service provider said I was such a good customer, they are going to cut my service charge in half - after I move I guess. Iv'e been a customer for... hmm... about 15 years?

Hope all is well around here. I have been sending some net friends here who I have met and that are in age gap relationships. Don't know if they have come by yet, or if they will ever.

Take care all - bye for now

Glad to hear that things are coming together Alawiy! I'm sorry that you are so tired but I'm glad that you've found a place to stay and at least a temporary job. I'm thinking of you!

Great news!
You'll get back into the swing of things.Moving is stressful, even under the best conditions....it'll be over soon.
Why did your child support stop?
OK, well, glad your ok.
Post those pictures and give us detail when you get the time!
Blessings, TD
