I don't know how often many of you check out the "health" section of ageless so I was hoping those of you that have anxiety issues could go here

and share your experiences.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that took the time to share all your experiences it has helped me a great deal in getting some relief. I know i'm not the only one and there are others like me however it's still nice to witness that for myself.

Thanks again!
Mano.

When I was in my teens and twenties, I lived on anxiety and had way too many panic attacks.
I hadn't had one in years and about 3 years ago, I was just sitting in bed watching some mindless TV show and out of the blue, my heart started racing, my arm went numb, I started getting really hot, and not matter how much I tried to calm down.......it kept getting worse.
By the time I got to the hospital, my blood pressure was through the roof. I really thought I was dying.
In the end, it was a panic attack and, obviously, I didn't die but it was awful!
I quit my job working for the insane studio owner that I was trying to hang in there for until the end of the season, started making positive changes and.....haven't had one since (knocks on wood).
I have wrestled with anxiety my whole life......age helps. So does Xanax lol.
Mostly though, I just keep trying to look at lifes problems with a sense of humor and that seems to help the most.
I still have to step back sometimes though and try to understand why and what is going on at that moment to cause my nervousness.
Blessings, TD
