Fish Face

I dont know, maybe it's me but what is it with the younger men and women making the fish face when they take a picture? I have a hard time not laughing when I see them doing it. To top it off my 11 year old daughter makes the same face, how is this cute or sexy??:p

Im hoping the fad goes quickly because Im ending up with a lot of family pictures of people who look perpetually constipated.

They do that, OR they make like a crooked-mouth face. I look at my YM-friend's ex-g/f's MySpace page all the time (shes young), and the faces that she's making...ugh! Man, i want to put a link to it here, or a pic. Hey, the pics are out there for everyone to see...i'll try to put one on here...

I dont get it either. Its like nobody WANTS to look attractive. I'm glad i'm not the only one that's noticed this... :confused:

If the ranges of the 'fish face' look are relative to the amount of constipation they're feeling someone better get that baby a suppository!

I can say that no one in my family has exhibited this type of behavior, but my oldest daughter is only 11 so there's a whole lot of teen years to go.

I fail to see how this "fish face" is cute or sexy too. The ones where people make that face AND at the same time pretend to be kissing the person next to them, while looking at the cam, is just too annoying.
I guess some people find this funny, but it just looks plain stupid and fake IMO.

I loved Ben Stiller in Zoolander. He was perfect in that role.

What I can't stand more than the fish face is the angry runway model look. And why do they stomp and criss cross their legs when walking down the runway? I don't know how they do that without tripping themselves and cannot understand the purpose. :confused:

Hey, I have a fish face picture too, I believe. I thought I was making a "kissie' face. Not a good pic, but a fish face all the same. I'll have to go find it in my camera now.

Hmmm. Most of those faces tend to be done for fun, so I don't know what the big deal is? What I do find strange is that pouty look, which I think looks awful. Victoria Beckham is probably the worst for that.

I have a cousin whose myspace if filled with pictures like that. She does it whenever we take pictures at family functions and knows that the camera is pointing in her direction, she thinks it makes her look sexy.

I think it makes her look like she had a taste of lemons. :p

I have a friend, on MySpace and in RL, who does alot of photography. I notice the style with women especially (like someone said about the models) is to look mean and definitely not to smile. I dont get it. I think smiling looks SO pretty. But - i guess i'm old fashioned :rolleyes:
